We Believe in Aging Gracefully

Aging gracefully means different things to different people. We’ve met women who happily say their age and never cross the threshold of a medspa. We also know women who don’t dare reveal how old they are and have standing appointments with their injectors. Some of our friends say, “I don’t worry about my neck.” Others have exchanged all their tank tops for turtlenecks.

Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum — and whether you’re 45 or 75 — our deepest wish for you is to feel happy at every age. Attitude is key. So is self-care. And thank heaven for the friends who make us laugh and who listen to our fears! Knowing we’re all in this together is what gets us through each day.

Whenever we’re in need of a bit of affirmation, we remember why we launched The Fine Line and remind ourselves of our manifesto:

We believe in living authentically, healthfully, and stylishly at every age.
We believe that wisdom and comfortable confidence are the best accessories.
We believe in staying grounded while boldly moving forward.
We believe that we set the standards for beauty and worth — not the media.
We believe that gray hairs and laugh lines should be celebrated — not airbrushed.
We believe that our strongest, sexiest bodies and greatest adventures are still before us.
We believe in the mature woman being seen, heard, and celebrated. Once and for all.
We believe that the second act of life can be our finest.
