Beauty Secret: Redken 5th Avenue Frizz Dismiss Fly-Away Fix

Frizz is no fun. When hair misbehaves, here’s something that could help: Redken 5th Avenue Frizz Dismiss Fly-Away Fix finishing sheets.

Think of these like dryer sheets: When smoothed over frizz, the sheets remove static and leave behind a smooth, shiny surface, thanks to lightweight Brazilian Pracaxi oil. No static means subdued flyaways and baby hairs and, thankfully, less fuzzy texture.

All hair types benefit from the sheets (which come in a box of 50), though how you apply the product depends on the level of frizz you’re suffering. Those who have fine-textured hair should use very little pressure: Just run a sheet over dry strands. Women with medium-texture hair can use a little more pressure to take out unwanted kinks. For hair that’s a frizzy fright, work a sheet section by section through your hair, wrapping it around each section, pressing, and pulling down.

And if you’re wondering about gray hair: Those wiry troublemakers that tend to stand at attention will fall after a few passes of Fly-Away Fix.

Available at ulta.com, $25.
